the end of the spear

the movie yesterday, the end of the spear, was one of the best movies i have seen in a long time. after the movie we went to culvers. culvers was too busy so we then went to wendy's instead. on the was to one of the fast food places, cooper cut off this person and almost caused an accident. the person honked and wasnt too happy. soon after that i looked at shelli and asked her if i had ever told her i love her then we held hands for a few seconds.

today was good. woke up for church and headed over there with shelli, skye, jenny and met up with jon as we passed his dorm. it was a good service, i missed the worship at Countryside Community Church when i was on break. After church a big group of us BH kids went to the caff and had brunch. it was one of the better ones i have had there. i think that conversations over meals are funny because they are always weird ones. sometimes the topics are off the wall. one thing we talked about at the caff today was rollerskating and gym class in elementry school. yeah, i dont know how that one came around, but it did.

back in the dorms skye and erin talked me into going hiking with them and john and t-love up to crows peak on the west side of town. i am really glad i said yes to it (or they prety much made me go) because it was a blast and was an assignment (i had to do a cardiovascular work out before monday). the hike was 7 miles round trip. crow peak was so beautiful. i took a lot of pics that i will put on here after i get them developed. the hike was a nice get away from the dorms and homework, a great first weekend back activity while the weather is nice still. at the top you could see spearfish and the mountains in wyoming and terri peak. very cool. a well worth it trip.

when i got back to the dorms shelli asked what was up and then we watched dirty dancing in her room. i like the movie but it was kinda weird at first. all in all good. and that was my day. just an average day.
