Oh man, I love my family. No matter how crazy or weird they can be. Tonight I went to a movie with my brother, his girlfriend, and my sister in Uptown. The movie was Napoleon Dynamite. Very very funny. One I wouldn't mind watching again, it is only in select theatres. After we saw the movie we walked around Uptown a little and climbed on the big letters spelling library. Next the four of us went to a coffee shop call "Pendoras Shop" or something like that. We sat up in the balcony and talked. Joe and Rachel told me what I should do for my 18th birthday. They said I should go to a casino or something like that. Maybe go rent a hotel since I can do that now. Or else make a trip to tailors Falls or Duluth. I don't think the casino is in my league but the other ideas sound fun. We then drove back to their apartment which is awesome if I do say so myself. Joe and Rachel share a room and the other room goes to their friend Rick. The five of us then hung out there at the apartment. Rachel started to play game cube, snowboarding. It's always fun to catch up with people you haven't talked to for a while. We talked about a lot of dif. Things, which rocked. One thing we talked about was when I was younger around 11 years old I watched more TV than I did when I should have. My brother had a close friend named Dylan and being that they are only 2-3 years older than me they liked to tease me. Well my nickname was Tubakiss. Something I despised. Joe told me today that I actually waste fat and that you know their age had an influence on how they treated me. I don't really care now but at the time that wasn't the nicest thing. Now it is actually kinda funny. Oh well Memories aren't always made out of warm fuzzies, they can be hurtful too. But the best memories are the ones that make your heart smile and give you satisfaction of life.
So today has been a good day so far. Life is good! I was looking at my life and since I am a senior this year thinking about all the things I would like to accomplish within the next few years. So far I'm on track. I have done a lot of awesome things within the last few years. Think about it, I had surgery and changed schools in the same year, to a private school none the less. I have found awesome friends that mean the world to me and I could never replace. One of my goals when I was younger was to volunteer and I now do that every Thursday playing dominoes or uno with older people at an assisted living home. I got my first job and have kept it now for a few months. I'm saving money to go to Africa which is my biggest dream. College is on its way and life is just begining. Ok, I'm done rambling. Anyways, today I went to my school to talk to my councelor about my schedule, ACT's, a scholership, and some other things. I got the info that I needed and now I'm on to my next step. After I went to school I stopped by Farmstead where I volunteer and talked to them about volunteering during my free hour this year. They gave me a piece of pizza cause they had some left overs (a free lunch, thats always nice). Then I went to the library. It's a good place. I then went to Walmart and got a cd I have been meaning to get for a while and finally a 48 cd, cd case. I have needed that for a while. Last of all I stopped at work and got some gas. When I went in to pay Lwana asked me to work later on Sunday because the new girl didnt show the last few days and without me there she would be working alone. Thats not cool, but I said yes of course. Tonight My sister and I are going with my brother and maybe his girlfriend to Uptown to the Lagoon to see Nepolean Dynamite. He said it is a laugh your socks of movie, so that aught to be awesome.
Today was a prety good day. I had to wake up at 5 to actually get up and get to work by 6. That wasnt too cool. Other than that I work at a gas station and it was kinda slow today so it wasnt too bad. When I got home from work I went down to my room and layed down thinking, oh I'm just going to close my eyes. I didnt wake up untill 3 hours later. My brother, Joe, came over tonight. I dont see him a lot, but I always enjoy when I do. He is an awesome guy. We had fun just hung out, my whole family together that is.
